In 2018, Gerasimos Flabouraris, completing his studies in pharmaceutical science, with training and specialization in galenic preparations and cosmetology alongside his teachers, Panagiotis and Thanasis, returns to his place of origin, Kefalonia and reconstitutes the laboratory of his family pharmacy combining the knowledge and experience of 3 different generations:
- Grandfather Gerasimos Eleftheratos, who owned a shop with essential oils and aromatics in the center of Athens,
- Mother Stella Eleftheratou, a pharmacist with many years of experience
- and the young brothers and pharmacists Gerasimos & Charalambos Flabouraris.
Located next to the Ionian Sea, the EleFlab (EleF + Flab + lab) laboratory has been oriented since 2018 to the formulation of innovative cosmetic products that offer well-being.
The belief that the beauty and health of the skin comes from the sea, leads after a few years to the development of Neiris.
Neiris comes from Kefalonia and was created when the love for the sea was united with the science of medicine.
The heart of the EleFlab laboratory belongs to Gerasimos and at his heart is the sea. Gerasimos and his brother Charalabos, raised not only in the island environment of Kefalonia but also in the environment of their family pharmacy in Lixouri, with the inescapable vision: the power of the sea to the place it deserves in daily, personal care. So, they create neiris.
Source of inspiration are the healing properties of sea water, the rejuvenating energy it hides and the incredibly nutritious wealth of the seabed.
